Signature

1string->remove(position::integer= ?, num::integer= ?)

Removes characters.

string->remove is called with member syntax on a receiver value. string->remove works with text values. Normalize input at boundaries, escape at output boundaries, and keep encoding calls close to the place where the encoded text is needed.

Parameters

position
Optional value of type integer. Supply position positionally unless the signature shows a keyword form.
num
Optional value of type integer. Supply num positionally unless the signature shows a keyword form.

Examples

Basic call

1local(s) = 'abc'2#s->remove(2, 1)
The example shows the receiver and result shape. In templates, apply escaping at the final output boundary.
